My second visit to this beautiful part of New Zealand. My first time was in early Spring about ten years ago, with our children. That was a very active holiday that included skiing, snowboarding, white water rafting and canoeing. This time, just the two of us in Autumn. It will be a little more sedate.

Unfortunately, a few last minute changes as our good friend, Mark is unwell. He is on the mend but was told by the doctor that this trip was off the cards.

Currently, Wayne and I are enjoying a holiday planned and booked by Donna, who isn’t here to enjoy the fruits of her labour.

This blog is dedicated to Donna and Mark. We will work out all the best things for them to do when they eventually make it here themselves.
